A warm
welcome to Chorley Tennis Club.
At Chorley we’re fortunate in having
some of the best outdoor facilities in north west England. Previously
known as Windsor Tennis
Club, we’re handily located next to Chorley cricket ground.
A
Lottery grant and a loan from the LTA meant we could expand and
improve our club back in 1999. We now have five all-weather outdoor
courts with floodlights, two short tennis courts and a fully equipped
clubhouse.
We attract a high membership of both junior and senior members
of all abilities, and provide opportunities for competitive and
social
tennis alike.
We regularly field four or five teams in the mixed
Ribble League every summer, as well as four teams in the Bolton
Men’s.
Our A team in the Ribble league plays in Division 1 and usually
finishes
the season near the top.
Our Junior teams have gone from strength
to strength in recent years and we regularly field several
teams.
Members can come down and play at any time, matches permitting.
We have social tennis sessions twice a week for people of all abilities
to mix in, without needing
a partner.
Chorley Tennis Club is a not-for-profit organisation.
Our policy is to keep subscription fees affordable and hold extra
fund-raising
events to cover court maintenance costs. There is no joining
fee, in fact new members get three half-hour coaching sessions
with our club coaches, free of charge.
Anyone who
enjoys playing tennis is very welcome as a member at Chorley
Tennis Club.
